Valve is famous for their first-person shooters, Nintendo is famous for their platformers (at least with Mario and Zelda) and Scott Cawthorn is famous for his horror games (as proven through his Five Nights at Freddy's series), so I might have to try that out. This is when G3 happens. Make sure you get a booth and have a game in production during G3. This will generate free Hype for the game. Thus increasing the sales and fans you get from the next game. Also the most important factor for gaining fans is the Game Score of a game. Make sure you build good games. Hype means people are excited to play your new game. Best way to get a lot of hype is to make sure you get the invite for G3 (which happens in M6 every year) during the development of the game. As you develop games to build your fan base, and a desireable trend starts over half-way in your AAA game development, now is the time to fire off you productivity boosters on your employees to increase output and spend that bit extra on marketing to get as much hype as possible. The only thing you can do to improve MMO sales is to make expansions. Basically they setup MMOs in the game to use the buy to play method, so the only income you get from them is game sales, not subs or micro transactions. In much the same way, a big AAA game might focus highly on graphics to make the most out of the platform it’s on. AAA titles are expected to be markedly better than mere Large games are. Use boosts during that training to get the best impact out of it. To get higher chance to obtain good scores (~ 9) don’t make AAA Games. It is possible to get 100M units sold with Large Games, and it’s my case. I got a score 9.25 at ~ Y100 … 110M units sold.
