I find they are good for brush painting Anotherlight mist of pure leveling thinner over the whole model at the end will guarantee an even and glossy surface. Matt/satin: gunze matt clear thinned with regular thinner. It may require more than a single pass over really glossy surfaces and/or if over thinned. Most people in the US use Testors Dullcote.
